Valley of Flowers

Valley of Flowers located in Uttarakhand state,India, high in West Himalaya, is renowned for its meadows of endemic alpine flowers and outstanding natural beauty. Black bear, snow leopard, brown bear and blue sheep are found in the valley. The Valley of Flowers is an outstandingly beautiful high-altitude Himalayan valley. The Valley of Flowers is splashed with colour as it bloomed with hundreds of different flowers, taking on various shades of colours as time progressed. The valley was declared a national park in 1982 and now it is a World Heritage Site. The Valley of Flowers is internationally important on account of its diverse alpine flora.
