Bunda Cliffs, Australia

The Bunda Cliffs are spreads across the south eastern corner of Western Australia and the far western part of South Australia. The Bunda cliffs extend for around 100 km along the Great Australian Bight near its northern extremity and are close to the Nullarbor Plain in a very sparsely settled area of Australia.

Uluwatu cliffs are located in island of Bali, Indonesia. The Tertiary limestone cliffs of Uluwatu were lifted from the ocean floor by subduction.

Kalaupapa Cliffs, Hawaii USA

Kalaupapa is a small unincorporated community on the island of Molokai in Hawaii. Kalaupapa Peninsula at the base of some of the highest sea cliffs in the world, dropping over 2,000 feet to the Pacific Ocean.

Preikestolen Cliff, Norway

Preikestolen is a massive cliff 604 metres (1982 feet) above Lysefjorden, opposite the Kjerag plateau in Forsand, Norway, about one hour away from the town of Stavanger. This famous tourist attraction is also called Pulpit Rock or Preacher’s Pulpit and attracts almost 100,000 visitors in the summers. Preikestolen offers breathtaking views.

Croaghaun Cliffs, Ireland

Croaghaun is Europe's third-highest cliff (2,178 ft). It is located in Ireland in County Mayo. The Croaghaun Cliffs loop around the uninhibited northwest of Achill Island and are accessible only by climbing to the top of the mountain. Hikers are then rewarded with breathtaking views of a vast array of sheer rock faces. The cliffs at Croaghaun can only be seen by hiking around or to the summit of the mountain, or from the sea. The views from the top of the cliffs are breathtaking, and the unusual corries and unique rock types make this location desirable to hikers.

Beachy Head Cliff, England

Beachy Head is the highest chalk sea cliff in Britain. Its height is 162 m (530 ft) above sea level. Its height has also made it one of the most notorious suicide spots in the world.

Cabo Girão Cliff, Madeira

Cabo Girão is a lofty sea cliff located along the southern coast of the island of Madeira, in the Portuguese archipelago of Madeira. The location is a popular starting point for hikers.

Bunda Cliffs, Australia

The Bunda Cliffs are part of a larger scarp of the Eucla Basin that spreads across the south eastern corner of Western Australia and the far western part of South Australia. The cliffs, which are some 60 to 120 metres high and sheer, can be viewed from several viewing points along the Eyre Highway east of Eucla and west of Nullarbor roadhouse. The Bunda cliffs extend for around 100 km along the Great Australian Bight near its northern extremity and are close to the Nullarbor Plain in a very sparsely settled area of Australia. The same formation can be seen from Eucla to Madura.

Latrabjarg Bird Cliff, Iceland

Latrabjarg, is located in Iceland. It is Europe's largest bird cliff, 14km long and up to 440m high. The cliffs are home to millions of birds, including puffins, northern gannets, guillemots and razorbills. It is vital for their survival as it hosts up to 40% of the world population for some species e.g. the Razorbill.

Etretat Cliffs

Etretat is a small coastal village best known for its cliffs, including three natural arches and the pointed "needle". Two of the three famous arches are seen from the town, the Porte d'Aval, and the Porte d'Amont. The Manneporte is the third and the biggest one, and cannot be seen from the town.
