Mount Lhotse, Nepal/China

Lhotse is the fourth highest mountain on Earth after Mount Everest, K2 and Kangchenjunga. It is connected to Everest via the South Col. Its height is 8,516 meters. Lhotse is best known for its proximity to Mount Everest. Lhotse was First ascented on May 18, 1956 by Fritz Luchsinger and Ernst Reiss. It is located at the border between Tibet (China) and the Khumbu region of Nepal.

Kalalau Beach, Kauai, Hawaii

Kalalau Beach is a beach on the Nā Pali Coast at the base of the Kalalau Valley in north-west Kauai in Hawaii. The beach is approximately 1 mile long. The beach has high surf. Mango, guava, passion fruit, and cherry tomatoes are abundant in the valley and are cultivated by the locals.
